Despite being wrong and ludicrous, it just reaffirms this notion I have that they don’t really care about console other than being a MUT milking machine for annual sports games.Combining the power of the Unreal Engine with the DiRT Rally series physics, EA Sports WRCdelivers longer, more detailed stages than previously possible, with 18 official FIA World Rally Championship locations and over 600km of unforgiving asphalt, gravel, and snow stages.

Then again when I got battlefield 2042 on gamepass and had issues with controller support, EA support had the gall to tell me battlefield was a pc game and didn’t support controllers. But still, mind boggling they won’t port given its relative ease and further grow its prominence by investing in this space. To that end, I’m of the belief that rally has a larger community current on pc than console. And it just fits the overall strategy from EA which is a long term plan ironically dictated by shallow short-sighted governance.
This is simply a cost-benefit analysis that some suit, at least in my biased opinion, f’d up on.

There’s plenty of games that are on the store page now to illustrate that, even a couple that are in early access on pc released as full games here- take that what you will, but I don’t think Sony is discouraging support. Launching a game to Sony standards isn’t really applicable here, or at least in this VR sector more specifically.
